This New Small DC Motor w/gear reduction assembly set weighs 2 Oz. Measures 2.65" in total Length x 1.18" x 1.18" in width(s). Net Wt. 2.0 Oz.Motor will turn on a single 1.5V AA size battery. Current draw is 12mASuggested DC Voltage source is 3.0V to 6.0V Current draw is 13-15mAWorks well with USB source, and also small solar panel.This motor has permanent field Magnets, and as a result will reverse rotation when connecting the battery source to the harness in reverse polarity.
The final Black plastic output gear will declutch (stop motion) if held with finger grip. The spring on the nose is part of the clutch. The actual clutch plate is the base of the Black output gear face-to-the Brass drive plate. The gear set although exposed is totally safe to touch while running.
Motor has been tested for proper operation, and drive clutch operation.
